Meet your Editor

Asad Choudhary

Asad Choudhary is a program coordinator and instructor in the teacher education program at Niagara University in Ontario. He also serves as a course instructor for teacher candidates at Western University's Faculty of Education and a professor in the Early Childhood Leadership degree program at Fanshawe College. In addition, he is a program facilitator with Western University's Centre for Teaching and Learning and a visiting professor of K–12 Educational Methods at Hunan First Normal University (HFNU) in China.

With over two decades of experience in K–12 education as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal, Asad brings practical insight and deep pedagogical knowledge to his teaching and writing. He was recognized for his strong leadership in K-12 Education with the Alberta Distinguised Leadedership Award from the Alberta Teachers's Association while serving as principal for the Palliser Regional School District.

Asad’s research interests include teacher and principal well-being, equitable education, and innovative methods of instruction in K–12 contexts. This book, Pedagogy Unpacked, draws on his extensive experience and research to explore effective teaching practices in elementary education.
